  • DeepCool Gamer Storm GF120: power and silence
DeepCool we saw how slowly you're insinuating in the IT market of dissipation and not so "arrogant" by offering excellent products at very competitive prices often. The fan DeepCool GF120 is one of these products. It offers excellent performance at various RPM maintaining good or bad always a noise level very acceptable. The design of the GF120 has been studied in detail to provide a fan handsome yet valid aesthetically, something that does not taste ever. The guarantee of 5 years, combined with interesting technical features such as the ability to disassemble and perform maintenance thanks to the Triple-Proof (Dustproof, Waterproof, Oil leakage-proof) make excellent from all points of view. The quality is also assured thanks to the system Japanese Fluid Dynamic Bearing equipped with a copper pin which ensures long life to excellent performance. The price of DeepCool GF120 is about 20 € and we consider it an appropriate price to the type of fan that is used with a different look (black / red) also AIO in the series Captain.
  • DeepCool Gamer Storm GF120 Fan
Really impressed today with GF120 from DeepCool and thus it gets our: Glob3trotters “High Performance” Award – 4.5 out of 5.
  • Analysis DeepCool GamerStorm GF120
What better way to begin our partnership with DeepCool than test this great fan of the brand! In terms of performance have results very similar to reputable fans marks, so DeepCool has the potential to be part of the top system. The DeepCool GamerStorm GF120 offers performance combined with a low-noise, which indicates an excellent fan. The price may seem a bit high, but after testing we can see that it has quality. For all this, this fan deserves our seal recommended by InsideGeeks!
  • Deepcool Gamer Storm GF120
The Deepcool Gamer Storm GF120 fan is ideal for someone looking for a quiet fan for their CPU cooler that has the ability to offer more cooling performance when needed but still remain mainly silent during all usage scenarios.Looking at the fan from a cost perspective tells you the price of all the engineering and design work that has been put into this fan.At around 20 US Dollars, the price is steep compared to other fans, though you do get a well-designed product for your price of entry. The Deepcool Gamer Storm GF120 fan is a brilliant demonstration of amazing aerodynamics and low acoustic noise profile at work. At the end of the day,I feel that Deepcool has hit a home run with the Gamer Storm GF120.
  • Deepcool Gamer Storm GF120 Review
Deepcool has made a fine fan in the GF120. And although it has a price-rag of $19.99/€19.99 it stands up to any other twenty-dollar fan, with ease. For such a quiet fan (only 32.5 dBA) -- it pushes a nice amount of air, including pulling air through filters and pushing air through radiators. In fact, the fan's output matches the published specs, and the noise it makes does not exceed them. And then Deepcool provide P-Q curves for the benchmark RPMs -- few companies do this.
The GF120 comes with the most important accessories – the world’s best vibration isolators, plus a Molex-to-7v adapter. Deepcool also has an accessory that is in plain sight -- the rubber covering that reduces any vibration that the fan might create. Finally, you can throw the packing away and know you’re not destroying the environment.
The fact that the GF120 is a PWM fan puts it ahead of most of its competitors. Their PWM circuitry is silent. No clicks at all. And what's even more signficiant is that the entire thing is waterproof.

  • Deepcool GF120 Review
Whether you go by the "the bigger, the better" or "big things come in small packages" philosophy, the Deepcool GF120 fan looks like a good contender in the market of air cooling. In its standard 120mm size, it is able to deliver a good amount of airflow for your system, while keeping noise levels reasonably low. Implementing Japanese-made bearings, rubber mounting grommets, and a soft rubber cover around the frame are commendable features in keeping performance in check. Although the minimum 500rpm speed setting may not seem as practical in most configurations, flooring the speed to 1800rpm certainly delivers results if you are not overly concerned about higher noise levels. However, running 1800rpm speeds may not be totally practical either, unless you are rendering graphics and running applications 24/7. Either way, it is all about the flexibility, right? In terms of visual aesthetics, I like how Deepcool has painted it fully black, despite the fact that it may be a bit generic. However, angles implemented on the frame as made it more visually appealing. With a 4-pin connector, you can connect the GF120 to any PWM or 3-pin motherboard fan header and not have to worry about monitoring its speed. More importantly, the Deepcool GF120 does what it is intended to do -- provide commendable static pressure and good airflow at a relatively low noise. The only real complaint I have about the GF120 is that the cable is somewhat shorter than what I expected. If Deepcool could either extend the cable a little, or provide an extension cable for users with larger chassis, this would definitely solve some cable management issues. While the Deepcool GF120 may be a good contender with the next latest 120mm fan, it will ultimately be up to the user to decide whether this fan is right for them. In my opinion, with so many great features to boot and so little to complain about, the Deepcool GF120 is definitely worth considering.
  • [TEST] Ventilateur DeepCool GF120
  • Gamer Storm Fan GF120 DeepCool Recensione
  • Deepcool GAMER STORM GF120: review and testing
As for the noise and the performance as a whole, in our opinion Deepcool GAMER STORM GF120 is an example of excellent value for these factors. Testing a product as a system fan and active cooling of the processor showed good opportunities in both modes of operation. Noise levels were low, but for lovers of absolute silence it is best use medium or low operating speeds, aided by the presence of PWM controller. Of course, all of the above features were reflected in the cost of new item, which at the time of writing the material was about $17-18. On the one hand, it is a considerable price. On the other hand, if you've already dealt with inexpensive fans, then saying "penny wise and pound foolish" is true. After all, high-quality propeller is purchased with the expectation not for a year of operation, but over a much longer period. And, of course we want to have original properties. By the way, do note 5 years warranty from the company Deepcool.
